Centered on Chicago’s North Shore waterfront, By the Lake is a collection of fine art photography rooted in my personal connection to the water. Since arriving in the US four decades ago, Lake Michigan has been a sanctuary for me - a place where, no matter the season, I can simply go. These photographs capture the interplay of the landscape as I experience it: light and dark, raw and delicate, energetic and still. I hope this work invites you into the grounding solitude of this special place.
